*What is a buff? Good question! A buff is a tube of lightweight, stretchy material. Its strength is its versatility. It can be worn as a scarf, bandana, headband, beanie, hair band, tube top, pirate cap, scrunchie, wristband…or however you choose to wear it!
General Information (not applicable to the virtual race)
Door Prizes: Again this year, participants and volunteers will be entered into a draw for wonderful prizes. Please note that you must be present at the time of the draw to be eligible to win the prize.
Water: Hydration belts and vests are permitted. These can be filled at the water fountain in the park. There will be one water station on the course, located on Maywood across from the Aquatic Centre. There will also be water available to participants of the 10 km event when they start the second loop. And all participants will be able to get water at the finish line.
Bag Check: Participants are able to check personal items at Bag check located in the Party Zone near registration.
First Aid: Pointe-Claire Rescue will be on hand in Valois Park to handle any medical issues. We encourage you to consult a physician before engaging in this physical activity.
Bathrooms: There will be port-a-potties in the park near the Party Zone as well as access to the bathrooms near the splash pad and in the Valois Park Chalet. Please note that there will be no port-a-potties on the course but participants may venture off course and use the facilities at the Aquatic Centre in case of emergency.
